Meet Sue Bennett

Doing A Job We Love

Sue established an early career in retail management, working for well-known brands Eaton's and Sears, where she did more than just put her marketing management education from BCIT to work. There she quickly learnt to transform challenge into opportunity and the experience instilled her life-long passion to provide exceptional client service.

"Whether it’s for my kids or my parents – I try to do business the way I want to be treated. If I wanted to know something now, rather than later, I will be sure to tell my client that now, not later. I put myself in their shoes." - Sue Bennett

Originally teaming up with Dan for eight years in her early years in real estate, Sue partnered with another fellow agent in a successful business partnership for almost 25 years while raising a family. During that time, Sue developed an intimate knowledge of her local market- the lower mainland, the fraser valley, and surrounding areas- by way of schools, lifestyles and other activities.

Having often co-listed and co-sold real estate over the years, Sue and Dan reunited their professional partnership in 2012 combining their vast experince, passion and committment to clients as true local REALTORS® for Lower Mainland Living.

"Sue takes impeccable care of everyone involved in the transaction. People call us after 10-15 years because they remember the service she provided." - Dan Bennett

Today, Lower Mainland Living's client base continues to grow as Dan and Sue work together. More than 80 per cent of their business continues to come from their original clients or referrals from their past clients, their friends and their family. Sue values this full-circle nature of her work and considers it a privilege to act as a REALTOR® for second and even third generations of clients.

Meet Dan Bennett

Your Results Are What Matter

Dan is serious about client service and establishing a trusted relationship. Back in the 70s Dan worked as a district manager for a large construction and logging equipment manufacturer. Having always been drawn to real estate, with a particular interest in commercial real estate, Dan completed his UBC degree specializing in appraisal - then decided to exchange a lifestyle of air miles for open homes. The rest, as they say, is history!

Dan became a licensed REALTOR® in 1980 and a broker in 1982. Over the years he has developed significant experience surviving the highs and lows of real estate markets, opening and managing Homelife brokerages, working with a varied client base and with many types of properties. Dan has lived and worked through a multitude of real estate cycles, and prides himself on his ability to find innovative solutions time and time again.

"I realize now that getting into it in the 80s was the best time to start in real estate, because it was the worst time. It forced me to develop all the right skills." - Dan Bennett

Through local, regional, and national education, Dan is raising the professional real estate bar. In an effort to make a difference and influence the future of the real estate profession and its standards, Dan has sat on, led, and is still involved with numerous committees and associations.

You might already know Dan, at least by face, due to his commitment to local not-for-profits. Some of these include Community Justice Initiatives Association (CJI), Rotary Sunrise, and collaborative community-based organizations such as SASSY. And if he’s not MCing or organizing community events, rallying up supporters, or exchanging quick witted remarks at the local café, he can be found enjoying the Fraser Valley and spending time with family.

"Dan’s always volunteering to help. He’s passionate and gets in there like a dirty shirt." - Sue Bennett

If you are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable REALTOR® team in the lower mainland to represent you, Dan and Sue are the true local choice.
